Review on Motorola Talkabout T42 radio, 2 pcs. by Ognian Velikov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Primitive radio. I got it with a kid in mind, but also for use on forest hikes at a dacha. About a kilometer out from the rural home (taking into account the elevation change and dense woodland), I conducted my check. Without major disruptions, communication is effective. Take batteries; that's all we can recommend. Three AAA batteries (or a battery pack) are required for operation.

Pros
  • Very well-built, really. No slack space is available. Actionable scope. A frequency scanner allows one to quickly and easily change to live channels. No complicated options here. One and only one viable channel option. 2 RF detectors in operation. 3 weak-signal detector (if I read the instructions right). 4 A button lock is included as well. The menu is disabled while the feature is turned on, making it ideal for use in environments where young children may be present.
Cons
  • They do not exist. If only the void of directions in 2022 could be remedied. Which is completely beside the point.
