I bought the standard size screws to get rid of the dealer plate frame on my 2018 Audi A5. While the standard sized bolts I received are slightly shorter than the ones used to attach the license plate frame to the car, they are still too long compared to Audi's rear license plate bracket as it has flat nuts. When these screws are fully tightened, the license plate will still be slightly loose and will slide freely sideways, up and down. If they were 2mm shorter they could work great. For this I need washers the thickness of a nickel. I didn't buy them for use with washing machines.
