I bought this case for easy travelling with my nikon d750 and nikon 28-300 zoom lens. The body and lens together are about 7.5 inches. The camera just barely squeezes in this case lens down, but it fits perfectly on its side. I put a double battery charger, 2 batteries and 2 cords on the bottom, covered with one of the cases velcro section pads (idk what they're called) and laid the lens on top of that. The pockets have room for other cords, phone and things but there is no room for another lens with this size camera. This case has worked perfectly so far on plane trips, car trips, camping trips and hiking trips and carried in a regular sized backpack. I spent a lot of time online trying to figure out which bag would be small but fit my camera safely and i was very happy that this bag worked out!
