Review on 🐶 Chede Basic Classic Padded Leather Dog Collars - Hair Clip-Proof Dog Collar with Alloy D-Ring - Suitable for Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large Dogs by Karla Harper

So we ordered 2 of these one size for our 1 year old shih tzu boy. At 18lbs he's a big boy but his neck is just under 12 inches and one of them was obviously too big and the NEXT SMALL SIZE was too tight despite being slightly longer than his old collar (too leather but in a different one Style). Part of the problem seems to be where the prong (the sticky bit that goes through the holes) is located - it is oddly located about 1 inch from the END of the collar, while his old collar, like all other collars that I've seen have a prong at the very END of the skin that usually wraps around it. Whatever the reason and I knew that in my zeal to have a beautiful olive color (His eyes were green like a puppy!) I might have missed these details in the picture (I'll check today) but I KNOW I MEASURED AND FOLLOWED THE SIZE CHART both times to order what appeared to be closest to his neck size, but both times the collar was EXCELLENT. If I can get them back I will be back - I know they won't work and after 50 years of owning dogs I have measured and collared a few dogs but they WON'T GO. Unfortunately, it looks like natural leather, although it is very hard and the color is pleasant, but NO - buy at your own risk and risk.
