Review on Presto 04213 Electronic Digital Timer by Deep Echemendia

Starting with 5 stars. (Reduced to 4, see update below). I chose this as part of my morning coffee brewing ritual as I prefer immersion broth like French Press and like to have 4 minutes to spare. Then I took the Aeropress and the time was 2 minutes. Then I realized that the beep is loud and lasts a long time before I give up, meaning it's better than syncing events to my microwave and then not hearing them. So when I put something in the oven I use this timer. And it's portable so I can take it to another room and be sure I won't miss it. I take it to the grill to grill steaks. The new time can be set quickly once you are comfortable. Another feature is that it has a magnet on the back so it easily sticks to my fridge where I usually leave it so I can always find it. It also sticks well to the grill. It's a small item, but wow, so versatile and useful in the kitchen and so handy to tuck away on the fridge with a magnet for easy viewing. (Almost) 1 year update: Unfortunately this guy ran out of breath after 10 months of daily use. The buttons do not work, the display whistles. I didn't think they would die out so quickly, so I'm not thrilled. This time I'll try to replace another one that got good reviews. Downgraded to 4 stars due to quality issues.
