Makes it easy to insert a hidden zipper. I am very impressed. I had no problem installing it on my machine and it sews like a charm. You no longer need to switch to the all-purpose foot to finish a seam allowance, it simply slides on to finish. I bought another one as a gift. If you don't know how to use it check out Sewing with Nancy, she has a great online tutorial. I've wanted one of these for years and am so happy with my purchase. Delivery was very fast with Revain Prime.
