This is a valuable thermostat.
This is a nominal thermostat. It's not designed for performance, although replacing the thermostat with a lower temperature will usually lower the engine temperature and therefore improve performance. I wish the rocker valve was bigger. I've also had two of these low temp thermostats from this brand in the past, both under 10,000 miles. There is simply no quality control here. Test it before installing. So far so good with this one.
