I do a lot of SIM racing and after a few hours of racing my hands can get quite bruised. I had a blister on my thumb and had to buy gloves that might help. I tried the cheap gloves you buy at auto parts stores but they didn't have the padding I needed on the inside of my fingers where you would experience friction when cycling/car racing. I have real racing gloves for a real racing car, but they are too thick for sim racing. These are amazing gloves, they are thin enough that I don't lose the force feedback/road surface "feel", they have padding in all the right places and they don't make my hands sweat at all. Ideal.
