Ironwolf 4TB installed in one of the slots, created 2 partitions. It worked flawlessly for several weeks, remaining connected to the network the whole time. But then one of the sections suddenly stopped working. Windows identifies it as a raw partition. Luckily, I was able to fully recover the files using active recovery software. So ok maybe it was an accident, maybe I should have been more careful about touching it even a little bit while it's on, maybe I shouldn't have had it on and connected to my machine the whole time. So it's ok, I stop transferring files with this thing, unmount, unmount it and turn it off. Today, a week later, when I turned it on for the first time after turning it off, another section got messed up. Even after several hours of scanning, I was able to recover my files, but it was scary to think that everything could be lost. Save your money, buy a NAS.
