The item I purchased was a Cartman 1.5" x 15' 3000lb Padded Ratchet Tie Down Strap (Qty. 4). This is a 1.5 wide nylon webbing in. and 15' long. Nylon is 1.5" wide but not very thick. It's about 2 times thicker than 1" ties. I wanted to use them to keep myself in place side by side. What I didn't like was that the hooks are very short, so short I can't felt very secure when my $13,000 was near. When I got to my destination, one of the straps slipped and the hook fell off. I returned them and bought a pair with carabiners, so even if the retainer comes loose a little I won't lose my load I bought to replace it was this (4 pack) 2" Car Transporter Ratchet Strap with Twisted Carabiners - 10ft - Orange
