This is a cute kit. The included instructions are easy to follow, and produce some adorable figures. The eraser dough is easy to work with, too.During/after baking, the erasers retain their color and shape quite nicely.The finished erasers do not do a good job actually erasing, though. I know people collect tiny erasers--I had a decent size collection when I was a kid. But this might as well be any bake-to-harden clay set. It is kind of like the eraser type of sculpey, where you soften up the clay, mold into whatever you want, bake it, let it cool, and then it functions as an eraser.While you can purchase eraser clay, you would be missing out on the most special part of this set, which is the little booklet with instructions and ideas. You can make all sorts of designs that are actually erasers. The more creative you are, the better your designs will be. There are some really cute little options.

The clay was very hard to mold. For kids it is even harder. I literally could not make anything. The only thing it”I could make was the brick the clay came in and I used it as a normal eraser. But the eraser was pretty good for erasing pencil.

My 9 yr old and friend enjoyed making these eraser animals. The tools help to make tiny add-ons, so the kit is do-able independently in that age range. It does require low baking for a period of time to set the animal erasers, and the tiny pieces don't necessarily stay on well. My 10 year old and her friend made these little animal erasers and wasn’t too impressed. Cray included is bit tough to work with even if it’s meant to be baked after. Direction says 15 animals but as you can see, there wasn’t enough left for 11 more animals. Maybe you have to make them really really tiny? I purchased this product for my 12yo who has sensory integration problems to help with coordination and the handling of smaller items. My kids range in age from 5-12 and they love all things crafty. I love things that I can just hand over to them and turn them loose. These are nice craft projects because they don't take forever to complete and the resulting item is somewhat useful.Great for some creative indoor time when going outside isn't reasonable.

The clay was easy to use and the booklet was very helpful. However, they melted to a pile of colors when baked. I fully admit to using the oven-provided temperature. Using a separate thermometer might have let me know if the oven was too hot/cold. However, I really don't want to get an oven thermometer just for making these erasers.

These are a lot of fun for older kids. Just take the enclosed colors, use the enclosed tool and follow the instructions enclosed to create cute little designs. Boys and girls both enjoy making these and a wide variety of ages. I pulled these out when my neighbor kids came over for me to babysit the other night and the 8 year old boy and the 12 year old girl were both having a lot of fun making me little characters with my kit. Recommended for a kids birthday party or just a Tuesday!

Great fun as a kids project. Easy to use the kit and the erasers. The erasers actually do work although they are a little smaller than we expected.There are a bunch of varieties of choice so that too makes this a good activity.
