After receiving the pet feeder, I read all the directions that are in poorly translated English. The feeder is for small pets, under 20 kg (44 lb) not described in the revain description. The amount of food dispensed is suitable for a small pet, not a German Shepard Dog.I was able to connect to the HBN app to control the unit with my phone. The camera works well for both picture and sound.I cannot connect to Alexa. I added the HBN skill to Alexa then I needed to add another skill. Neither could discover the feeder.As I use the feeder more problems arise.1. I bought an SD card to record video and the pictures still store on my phone, not on the card despite changing the setting for video to local. The HBN app shows the SD card, but it is useless.2. I installed the back up batteries and unplugged the power. The feeder did not connect to the app. Upon reading the instructions. The backup battery will allow you to manually feed by pressing the feed button. Why bother. If you are next to the feeder, get the food and feed your pet. It I am away from home and the power goes out, my pet will go without food.I want a better feeder.
