Review on Philips Series 5000 Norelco Cordless Beard Trimmer 🪒 with One Pass Technology and Washable Feature - Black/Silver by Tina Williams

The trimmer itself feels great and cuts well but I bought it for the ability to set the trim levels to lower levels which the comb that comes with does a great job. The trimmer comes with 3 combs: 1 black and 2 gray. I don't use gray combs because they are used for long beards but that's ok because black ones can be used for short beards which is what I need. However, the black comb has a slot through which you can slide the skin and shave it off completely. I like grooming a level 2 shadow mustache with a black comb. When I cut, there were bare spots due to the gap. I'm not sure what the designers were thinking. My old and much cheaper Philips trimmer has a gapless comb and does a great job at lower levels except the Ni-MH battery is dead. bad, so I opted for a more expensive model with Li-Ion. If this model could use the same gapless comb design, I would buy it.
