I thought I had a better stubble trimmer. It turns out I was wrong. I don't use long combs at all, so my rating is based on stubble only. Do not use this trimmer if your beard is shorter than 3mm. After using the 5100 for several years and getting pretty decent results, this was a game changer. I usually shave my beard 2mm. With the 5100 I can get 90% of the job done in a few passes, except for a few tricky spots. At 5500 it's pretty much just one pass.
