We use them for haberdashery. When I tested it, it holds just over 3 cups of water. Three cups of water is 24 ounces, not the advertised 33 ounces. With this type of measurement, a pint is 2 cups and a quart is 4 cups. When I tested something with a 2 liter capacity, like a large bottle of Dr. Pepper, even half that liter would be way more than this product can hold. The limit is 3 cups or 24 ounces of water. We use it to store store-bought biscuits and tea bags. So I bought 2 more at 33oz and one at 64oz. The 64-ounce size looks like it'll hold a full pack of Oreo cookies or similar (6 cups of water, or double the 33-ounce size). The cookies bought from the plastic store aren't even recyclable, I don't know why they sell groceries. The absence of toxins is a plus.
