My kids go to school and like many others they don't wear shorts with drawstrings so I had to use shorts with hooks and adjustable elastic, which was all still closed tight when left on my skinny babies or lost so they kept pulling on them. This belt is adjustable so it can fit even a 20/22 inch waist and it even fits a slim adult. I gave it to my 6 year old nephew and 10 year old niece. and everything is easy to remove and snap back on. Can be used by children on pants with bows, as well as dresses or long shirts. I plan, hand washing it or disinfecting it carefully due to covid and think it will last a long time. Shipping and packaging were good
