Review on 🔧 Optimized Velleman VTDESOL3U Vacuum Desoldering Pump with Built-In 30W Heater by Fernando Wolford

I have evaluated this tool and I can say that it works very well. I teach avionics (aeronautical electronics) at a local college and am an electrical engineer. While it's not as fast as a device with an electric vacuum pump, it works just as well and costs a lot less. It can only be operated with one hand, which is a major advantage over desoldering tools with a pear on it (e.g. the turkey nozzle). We have vacuum pump desoldering pumps, but I am switching to them as they are much easier and more convenient to use and perform the same.
