My first impression of this case is that it is exactly as advertised. It's very thin and very light. My iPad is no longer in this case. I was a little surprised that the back of the lid is a bit see-through, but that's not a problem for me. It looks cool, especially with the space gray iPad. Since the back has a matte finish, it won't show fingerprints, but it does show the smug marks you'd expect from almost any plastic. The magnet on this thing is nice and strong and not only does it hold the back of the lid very well when flipped over, it's strong enough to hold the Apple Pencil in place (I literally tested it to see if he would fall off with a decent shake and won't fall). However, it fell as it was shaken from side to side. It's not an actual iPad feature, but it's a nice added bonus that I wasn't expecting from this cover. My favorite feature of this case is that it's very stable when standing. There is no vibration and the magnet does not give way. Overall, this lid feels very premium and durable while maintaining a thin and light design. Let's see how it stands the test of time. I hope I never drop this thing as I am very good with my technique but if I do I will share how it survived the fall.
