I use this filter on my whole house sump system to filter iron in the well. It works very well and the price is great. The only drawback is that according to the instructions, the water should be left running for about 10 minutes after installation. I may be interpreting this to mean that this filter is not rated food grade. It's not a problem for me because I use reverse osmosis for all our drinking water and cooking, but it might be a problem for others.
