Review on Ozark Trail Thermal Insulated Backpack by Richard Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why pack ice in a cooler backpack?

We bought this cool backpack for a visit to the zoo. This is a lightweight, breathable mesh cooler box. Of course you shouldn't put ice in it! Mmm! Pick up Coleman reusable freezer bags for 97 cents and keep your drinks in the fridge overnight, or freeze bottled water overnight to use as freezer bags. Why would anyone put ice in here? This is not a hard cooler! It's a lightweight, insulated pack, so you can't complain about leakage, damn it. We took him to the zoo where we spent 6 hours with the whole family of 5. I got it with 2 packs of Coleman, 6 small semi-frozen water bottles, 4 Dr. 20 ounce peppers, 7 cans of 12 ounce soda pop, a package of cream cheese, and a gallon-sized bag of sliced apples and pears. In the other pockets I could put hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, spray, sunscreen and of course lip balm. I had to take some water bottles to have them thawed because they were still frozen when we ran out of drinks so I refilled them in the fountain to continue thawing them.

Pros
  • Hiking backpacks
Cons
