The first from the set did not work. Tried both directions and switched to a different socket, to no avail. When I came across one that actually worked, I wasn't impressed. The brightness was on par with crappy regular halogen bulbs. After all, it's white light. The only reason I bought them was to improve visibility when reversing my truck at night, which they can't do. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for it. If all you want is white light, go for these, but expect mediocre quality and performance. Some eBay license plate lights I've bought for a few bucks are MUCH brighter than these and help me secure more than these things even when pointed at my license plate. I would spend a few bucks more or go for a more reliable brand. These are not light.
