Review on MPC 3621 Linear Actuator Stroke by Patrick Ross

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Don't waste money on it.

3 housing screws loosened and the housing came loose causing the plastic wire guide to break and rendering the actuator inoperable. I was able to put the wire guide back in place and reassemble. This time I used Loctite for the screws. I checked my other two drives and both were missing a screw and the other two were loose. You can use Loctite there. Update failed again after a few more uses. This time he sheared off the gear pin and the prop shaft fell out due to an oversized C-clip. Replaced the pin and used a smaller C clip, reassembled it and it works again but I don't have to rebuild it every time I need to use it. Try a different brand.

Pros
  • Linear actuators
Cons
  • unreliable
