It's nothing more than black molded packing peanuts. It's soft and tears easily. If you put heavy equipment on it, it crushes it, but at the same time provides no support. My elliptical feels like it will topple over and rocks and sways. Even the pattern isn't consistent on the tiles. It is skewed and irregular. They charge you to deliver it and charge you to return it. That should have been the warning. GARBAGE. GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE! BTW If you are looking at the exercise mat material at Home Depot that looks like this, this crap is nothing like it. The Home Depot mat is firm. This stuff is soft and useless. Buy something else. I don't understand all the positive reviews. I can't conceive of a situation where one has exercise equipment that this packing material would be useful as flooring.
