I have an Ame Bulldog x Border Collie puppy for starters in case anyone is looking for things to help solve certain breeding issues (Bulldogs are notorious for digestive issues). I saw results within 6 hours of feeding it to my 2.5 month old pup and ended up finding it a great food for large breed puppies too. I didn't start until I saw his stool getting a little firmer, but it still wasn't 100%. I've been dealing with soft loose stools and heavy gas since I picked it up. The woman I got it from fed Purina Puppy Chow puppy food (wow!). I think that's the beginning of the problem. When I got it I slowly switched it to the Merrick brand which didn't solve the problem and subsequently tried Blue Buffalo and Candidae either worse or with no success. Then I finally did a little research and read this for Ame. Bulldogs Nutro Large Bread Lamb/Brown Rice was good for sensitive tummies. At the same time, I stumbled across Seacure, so I ordered it along with prebiotics and probiotics. Started Seacure on day 3 after I gave him Nutro because I was afraid of constipation lol. Anyway, no more gas (unless that's normal), regular and always hard stools for a few hours, and his coat is starting to really shine. It's been about a week and I've also noticed less itching and less dandruff. I've also started giving him pre and probiotics as his digestion isn't as sensitive anymore. Definitely worth trying. But if your dog has chronic issues, I would also suggest looking into food and other supplements so you're not just covering up a systemic problem. Some people mention the smell. It's ground dehydrated fish, it doesn't smell like roses. It didn't bother me but I grew up by the sea and it's a familiar smell. My puppy really likes it too.
