Works great - low power consumption

Driver for on the go. My first trip with the troupe was from the Midwest to the West Coast and back. The device works on 115V from my inverter. Draws about 50 watts. The less you open the door, the less it turns on/off. So I can't say how much electricity it uses overnight. too many variables. Did you refrigerate the items before putting them in, how cold do you set them, how often do you open the door etc. I would guess it's room temperature. A can of coke takes about 8-10 hours to reach temperature. I'm staying up and it's getting really cold. I keep in me some cola, juice, ketchup, meat dishes, eggs, etc. Very happy with the device. Prob saved $50-60 on food the first time. The medium size did NOT fit into the Cascadia 2020 wardrobe. Too wide, maybe 1/4 inch. So connected in the upper bunk area. I noticed that the heat coming from the back of the unit was enough to make my APU air conditioning work a little harder at night. Not bad, but it was noticeable that the air conditioning worked longer. Also won't keep items cold all night without power. The APU failed while driving. Fixed the next day. Shut down the inverter to conserve the batteries for the rest of the night. I estimate the power was out for about 8 hours. The contents were room temperature rather than cold, and I never opened the door at night. But overall I am very happy with the device. Low power consumption, no noise, cold enough for my needs, easily pays for itself in a few weeks.
