This is not a tool fault but note that it is used to adjust the rear camshaft valve clearance on the rear bank in one 2004 Toyota Sienna is useless. , and I suspect many other Toyotas somehow don't fit. The firewall is too close as is the large wiring harness etc. I used this tool where it fit and a couple of flat head screwdrivers where it didn't. I first used this tool, when this tool didn't work I used 2 flat head screwdrivers - and too late I realized that using 2 screwdrivers is much quicker and easier to change gaskets than using this tool kit. This tool makes it very easy to compress the valve spring, but can easily damage the surface of the seal because its edge is not polished smooth. Screwdrivers can also easily damage the washers and cams but the washers and cams are heavy duty steel and I used 2 cheap screwdrivers made of softer steel than the hard steel of these tools. The tedious part of this tool is holding the seal and spring with the tool provided as the lubricated hard smooth steel is extremely slippery on steel and the cup circumference is only about 1mm wide and it takes a few careful tries and then there are none accidental touch when replacing seals. Would a square section tool be much quicker and easier to align to hold a mug versus this thin sheet metal tool. I ended up sanding the ends of the sheet metal to be more square as they were a bit rounded when made with sheet metal stamping and that helped a bit. If visibility was better, holding this holding tool would be a lot easier.
