Sandpaper can be that easy. But don't let that fool you. It features a visible aluminum oxide finish for optimal performance and durability on many materials, especially wood. The backing is a fairly simple thick kraft paper - there's nothing special about it. It tends to break and pucker sand a little more than other papers, but this isn't a problem on a fixed sanding block or an oscillating sander. And they're great for that: cutting them to size. Or in my case by bending and tearing sheet metal. The 80/120/220 sandpaper range also covers the basic grits needed for most wood sanding jobs. 80 is coarse for quick material removal, 120 is medium for removing marks left by 80, and 220 is the minimum for most surfaces.
