On my Xbox controller it was initially very tight but after use it just loosened up. After some research I learned how to pull the pins back out after pushing them in which makes for a tight fit, but after I had to bend the metal a few times to do it, the little metal pin holding it eventually broke off. Still works, just a very loose connection.* It works not even anymore if I don't move at all after plugging it in. To be honest I'm very disappointed and wish the cable wouldn't break in the plug. That really doesn't mean the cable is strong as hell, it's " Nylon "brains" double braided when the problem is a dumb connector that just comes loose and stops working
