I've read other reviews and can only think they either have a faulty unit or don't understand the basics of networking. I bought them three years ago and they still work perfectly with security cameras and the internet. I bought another set in December and they worked right away with no setup required. Mounted them, connected them, pointed them at each other (a quarter mile apart), and they work fine. If you want to spend three times as much money, I recommend Ubiquity. I love Ubiquity products. I use Ubiquity in professional enterprise environments (I've been CIO of MCSE/CCNE for 30 years). But for a very low price, a simple bridge, for a farm, home, or small business, they work great.
