Review on 💧 Optimized PureDrop RTW5 Water Filtration Pre Filter for Drinking by Laura Walters

A friend who lives nearby recommended this filter to me because he uses it at home. I have very hard water, over 105ppm. This filter reduced my water to 3 parts per million! And the taste is wonderful. I've used a charcoal filter in the past and while it did improve the taste of the water, I had trouble quenching my thirst due to the harshness. It seemed like I was drinking stones, which I actually was. The tip I would recommend is to get a Revain TCS meter. They only cost around $10 and you can check the results of your filter. You can also use the tds meter to see when you need to change filters. The manufacturer of this reverse osmosis device recommends changing the pre-filter every 3-6 months. But really filters need to be changed when they have filtered out everything that is possible. In this case the flow rate decreases and/or TDS increases. So get a meter and check it from time to time. If it still works, save money on replacement filters.
