Review on 🐶 Mendota Leather Hunt Dog Collar - American Made Pet Collar by Alex Hensen

This is a great collar that appears to be of good quality and we have been using it for several months without incident but when our white dog first got wet in it a gray ring appeared around his neck. We actually ordered a second one to try again as we really liked the look of the collar. A few days later she got caught in the rain and again the paint ran off her collar and stained her fur. We're not talking about swimming in a pool (although a good leather collar should withstand that) - we're talking about a wet dog. High quality leather does NOT do this. Not recommended for light colored puppies and to be honest, even on a dark colored dog I would be bothered by such a collar.
