Review on πŸ“± Tune Belt Armband for iPhone SE (1st Gen 2016) and iPhone 5s/5/5c/4S/4 with OtterBox Defender/Commuter - Sweat-Resistant Armband for Running & Working Out by Elizabeth Pushkina

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good - very satisfied

I usually look at reviews and rate the quality of the product by comparing the overall positive and negative ratings. In this case (sorry no pun intended) the sheer volume of reviews ranging from 5 (460+) to 1 (25) stars gave me a pretty clear idea that this is a really good product. It arrived yesterday within 2 days (as promised by Revain). I immediately grabbed my protected Otterbox Defender iPhone 5c and pocketed it. It was comfortable but not difficult (something like tube socks). a good thing. This prevents flip flops during my workout/run. The holes on the bottom for the headphone jack, lightning jack and microphone line up perfectly and I had no issues with the headphones. The fit and comfort was great as the neoprene material is soft and non-chafing and the strap is stretchy enough to comfortably hold the phone in your hand without turning your nails blue. I used it for a short run (3.5 miles) this morning and it worked flawlessly. After I adjusted the strap, it stayed where I put it. I could also operate the touchscreen through the plastic, but it requires more pressure (obviously to me). I had no problems with the RunKeeper app. It was easier for me to get everything ready for work, get dressed and then press the start button. Adjusting the volume with the side buttons is a bit tricky as the case material is thick and you also have an Otterbox. So it's best to use the slider on your phone's screen. Since it sits high on the arm, it's uncomfortable if you like to stare at the screen a lot. As for me, I just press 'start', listen to music at a decent volume, and puff. I guess if I had to answer the phone I could always stop (and get off the road/path) to end the conversation. Again, why would you break your run by talking on the phone? If anything changes (e.g. velcro stops working, material rips, seams unravel/pull, etc.) I'll post an update. Until then it's 5 stars.
