Review on 📚 Safavieh American Homes Collection Liam Vintage Cream Ivory Open Bookcase with 2 Tiers by Candace Young

Well the finished product looks just as nice as the photos I am very disappointed with the quality and poor workmanship. You can see in the photos that they filled the nail holes with white paste but didn't bother to paint over them. They are very easy to see, not to mention the glue spilling in the joints. You can also see where the top shelf is not fully aligned and has a gap after fully assembling. The biggest problem for me are the bottom and middle shelves. In fact, they are made from a very thin sheet of wood that is simply glued around the edges with a half-inch block. (Look at the bottom of the shelves in the picture.) The shelf is about 1/16 inch at best and not strong enough to hold the very heavy books I was planning to put there anyway. For this price range I expected the best of everything. Now I'm trying to decide if it's worth going back.
