Finally found a mild tire cleaner to use on my car that doesn't attack my aluminum rims. Simply spray on and let it take effect for 1-2 minutes, for example. Brush the rims with a fine brush, tap the tires with a large brush, done. It removes dirt from tires (turns brown) like more aggressive (acidic) cleaners, but does not attack aluminium. I use this with a foam sprayer and leave it on and then scrub everything. Tires and rims stay clean and brake dust is removed. The price is reasonable, the product works perfectly - 5 stars!
