I have used this with a laptop that only has 2 USB-A ports but only 1 of them is 3.0. Since it has a mostly useless USB-C port that I could only use for an Ethernet adapter, this multi-adapter seemed like a good investment, and for the most part it is. The USB A and C ports work as expected and that was my main reason for purchasing this adapter. I have yet to test the card slots, so I'm assuming they're working for now. The only part I couldn't get working is the HDMI port, which while a little disappointing isn't a big deal as the laptop already has a good HDMI port, mostly alongside the USB-C port Exactly what I need and that's it. I will update if anything changes when I have it a little longer.
