John Frieda Go Blonder

I have baby fine highlighted hair. Because it is so fine, I only get highlights once every four months to protect my scalp and hair from damage. I'm two months in to this set of highlights and I was hoping that my hair would look a lot blonder after using this product. The miracle masque was easy to use. I just applied it after my initial shampoo and left it on for the recommended 3-5 minutes. I noticed that my hair felt softer when I rinsed it out. For me this is not a good thing. I use volumizing shampoo to give my hair oomph when I blow it dry and the products that work tend to make my hair feel strong not soft on the rinse. I do not use a conditioner because it makes my hair too soft on the blow dry and the miracle masque seem to have the same effect as a conditioner i.e. it made my hair feel flat and soft on the rinse.Out of the shower, I used my normal root booster and blew it dry with my fancy Dyson hair dryer. The result was the usual amount of body and the usual color. So I would say this did not appear to do much for me. That said for someone with thicker, fuller hair it may make the hair feel softer and shinier. But for my fine hair.it didn't do a heck of a lot. On the plus side I liked the tube and easy application.

Pros
  • ONE A WEEK TREATMENT - Use all over hair, or concentrated on ends, once weekly
Cons
  • It may cause more tangling or knots in the hair
