Awesome but I don't understand the reason for the floating disc.

Comes assembled and works awesome. I'm not really sure what the reason for the floating disc is.but it's cool and it works. The legs are adjustable to 3 different heights. The floating disc and bowl comes out for easy cleaning.

It doesn''t prevent splashing 100%, but it''s close enough. A good option for my big dog and my cats don''t mind using it either. Water fill lasts about a day with one 100# dog and two cats but if it lasted longer it would just get super gross.
