Unpacked and charged for 8 hours. Then I activated the POE option, took a new IP camera and connected it to the Poe port. The camera was turned on, but there was no network connection. I then connected 12V directly to the camera, ran the network cable to a LAN point, but there was still no network connection. I then left the 12v power supply to the camera and connected the network cable to my switch on my network and voila I have a network connection. The camera tester sucks. If I've done something wrong now, please let me know. But I've read the instructions and I'm sure I did everything right.
