The photo is used as a "bike reportage": on the go, quickly grab a bike jersey / jacket from your pocket and poke somewhere there and with a high chance of getting a picture that you can see for yourself and show to others. The same goes for cross-country skiing and a bit of canoeing. What modes, manual adjustment - on halts, when there is nothing to do. The previous camera for this purpose is the S120, which ended its life cycle, having probably circled the globe in a few years. Knowledge in the field of photography - minimal. Review based on today's ride (from dawn to dusk) 130 km south of Hong Kong. Only automatic. After the S120, the camera sits much more securely in the hand. I quickly got used to hemp. The reactions of the device are the same or better. I even managed to use tactile focus. Due to the matrix, of course, it's better quality. Together with stabilization, it allows you to use zoom even on the go (and not only asphalt). Moreover, according to the sensations, you can use digital in the "grainless" part: JPEG is scaled as something worse. On the S120, the five could only be set from a tripod / stop and a timer. And no guarantee. The luminosity is similar: as it gets dark or some kind of thunderstorm, it reads “stupidly” on the go in the same way. Photo in the forest on the backs, on the go from the grader (pebbles, washboard - everything is as it should be) with a magnification: 17.57, just from the asphalt (sprinkled and squeezed tightly when recording), Video did not immediately realize that the default is PAL, ie. 25 frames per second, which is not enough for fast movement. Rearranged in NTSC (someone in the reviews complained about the "cheating" and the lack of 30 frames). The stabilization is excellent, significantly better than the s120 - there is no desire to run deshake filters (shooting from a bike from different road surfaces). The microphone is under the wind (incoming air from movement), or rather the noise reduction gives "artifacts" - a slight click. It does not bother, but what can you want from the built-in one? How convenient is manual work through the screen - I don’t know yet, but on the s120 the ring around the "joystick" pissed me off specifically. So far, I got what I wanted, obviously with a margin.
