Where to start? Now what about the suction cup mount on the PRO, it's solid and works really well. Now CON has very poor picture quality even at the highest resolution. Road signs are illegible, speed limit signs are illegible, license plates are illegible, etc…. Yes, I have installed the latest firmware. Yes, I removed the protective film from the lens. Yes, I tried viewing with VLC Media Player and Dashcam Viewer and Vantrue Viewer software. I also used a Vantrue microSD card. Nothing but dazzling pixels that can make you cramp. I bought a GPS mount compatible with this dash cam and found that the Vantrue PC Viewer software only shows a worm trail of your location. There are no maps that clearly show where you've been. In addition, the video display suffers from hazy large pixels. This is an "updated" software from 6/2017. Why aren't these problems solved yet? Vantrue support gave a lick and promise of answers rather than real solutions or help. I also see a flaw in the lens. It's either dirt or a crack, indicating a lack of quality control. I am returning this for a refund.
