I bought two of these for my daughters who are in 6th and 7th grades of high school. They started out with a regular backpack but their bags were very heavy for everyday carry and I started looking for backpacks with wheels to ease the strain on their backs. It took me 2 weeks to finally decide to buy these bags after reading many reviews of similar backpacks given the cost and that the main complaint with these types of bags in general is the handle failure. I deducted 1 star from the rating. because i ordered purple as only 2 options showed black or purple and i got navy blue. Although it's not the color I'm ordering, the blue looks pretty good and still looks like a bag overall. Pictured is a 15.4 inch laptop. It fits nicely in a laptop slot. My other daughter has a 14 inch laptop so it fits perfectly. The main zipper is very roomy. Sufficient for books, folders, notebooks and a change of sports clothes. There is another zip for a calculator, pencil case etc if needed and several other horizontal zips and zips on both the right and left side of the bag. The backpack pocket hides the backpack straps and can be quickly pulled out to convert the bag for backpack carry when needed. I love that the belt compartment closes to cover the wheels so you don't get your kids clothes dirty if needed. I tested it and it's well padded so I didn't feel the grip on my back. Overall it looks like it could be a solid bag. The material is excellent and very spacious. My girls love their new backpack. For reference, my 12 year old is 4'7 and 80 pounds. My 10 year old is 4'2 and 58 lbs.
