When I received this there was some static electricity at first. It was strange, after prolonged use, it disappeared. The battery life has improved the more I use it. I often leave it on from midnight to 9am, it still gets almost a full charge. When I first got it it wouldn't have taken that long. The more I used, drained and recharged the battery, the longer the battery life got. I never have to worry about running out of battery which is what I was looking for. I don't use it for midi. While it sounds pretty good to me, I use it while my husband is sleeping. I took the ice cream on the plane, very convenient, it folds well, but they are large. A good product. Update July now and they are robust and I am very impressed. I used to buy new skull and crossbones sports candy every 6 months. It costs money. No noise yet. The volume gets high.
