The tape isn't strong enough
Update 9/8/21: At least the tape isn't strong enough and I found my very small and light DVD player on the floor twice. I have to deduct 3 stars because this product is only temporary. I used these brackets to mount a small (old) DVD player under a garage cabinet so I could set up a gym in the garage. Seems super durable and sticks all the time. Hopefully if I ever want to remove the staples they will come off with a scraper.
