We opened the box and found a cot that was an odd color - peach flesh. As we passed the first layer of packaging, we thought we'd stumbled upon a dirty piece of plywood used to stabilize the box. We were wrong. The moldy piece was actually the main part of the bed in which the mattress and baby were supposed to lie. We tried wiping the dirt off and found it was actually powdery black mold. There is absolutely no way this is safe for a child. We could live with the wobbly paint, but hell, there's no way we'd put our baby in that mold-infested thing.
