There are three main advantages when you look at it over the regular magnetic vent holders sold everywhere: - It has two vent holders instead of one. This makes the connection so strong that no matter how wildly you drive your car, the mount will never fall out of the air vent and let your phone fly as you rely on navigating around the next corner. - The magnet front has three strong magnets. in it to make sure it sticks securely to your phone, but more importantly it's about 1 inch from the vent so the phone doesn't block airflow like my old mount did - finally the magnetic head can adjust the angle. under which your phone faces you and this provides a much better view of the screen while driving. My previous magnetic air vent holder just looked straight ahead, as did the phone when placed on the holder.
