When I first bought this printer I really liked it despite a few flaws. The only thing I was initially dissatisfied with was the document feeder. These are just tiny stoppers on each side of the sheet and you need to hold on to the papers to make sure they go straight and don't get stuck. However, his other skills made it worth it. I've been using this printer for about 12-15 weeks now. It has completely stopped working in almost every way. It has become completely useless. Wi-Fi no longer connects just 30 feet from the router even though my Wi-Fi is strong. I cannot print at all even when connected directly to my computer. Every time I scan the first page I get a different error message. Buttons no longer load. The printer won't even let me start printing - it always comes up with a different error message somewhere. Sometimes it starts to print and then stops immediately. Today I tried to get a contract for a two hour scan. Vain. The thing turned into absolute garbage and I've only used it about 10 times. I regret buying any Brother product as I have had similar experiences with each of their products that I was foolish enough to purchase. For a few weeks my confidence in printers was restored a little, but eroded again. Don't buy that thing. It's just like any other Brother product - it works 'well' for a while after you buy it, and then it becomes the most annoying piece of technology you'll ever have to deal with.
