short wires are pinched
, I have these replacement batteries for old att. As shown in the picture, the cords to the jack (male) are only half the length of the battery, so you can only insert the cords closest to the phone jack. You need to pinch the wires and push the connector to fit the phone cover. not sure if this is causing the problem in the end. This is the second set of replacement batteries. The old replacements were "Fluureon" in green plastic wrap and the wires were long enough for a proper install. they lasted about 6 years.
