I got this otoscope because it was the first one I’ve seen that came with its own camera instead of requiring the user to connect it to their cell phone. It arrived with everything described including speculas, ear picks, clear ear wax removal tools, alcohol prep pads and even a microSD card already installed. You basically only have to plug in the camera to a USB connection for power, connect the scope to the camera via another USB and turn it on. The manual provides some guidance for what the buttons do.The six LED light on the scope can be very bright, too much so and cause glare in the ear canal so being able to adjust it is handy. After several minutes of use, the metal surrounding the light does get warm. Just something to know. Besides giving you a tour of your ear canal, this thing also sees every pore, every tiny blemish and magnifies it which can catch you off guard when you thought you had near perfect skin. The resolution of the monitor is very good—1920x1080. The only downside I found is you have to possess a real steady hand. I found it difficult to keep anything in focus because of this. Maybe I’ll improve with more practice.I could imagine this scope having other uses around the house as well. Anywhere
