This mop is a lot better than the Rubbermaid it replaced. I've been using Rubbermaid Squeeze Mops for years and the old mop ended up not holding the sponge in place and not compressing it properly. I reordered and received a completely different brand mop which I really like! The new Kitchen Plus Home PVC Sponge Mop with Quickie Bulldozer has a longer metal handle and durable twin mops. At first I didn't use the middle section of the mop because I'm short and thought a shorter handle would be more comfortable. Not really. The longer handle allows me to stand up straight when mopping, helps me reach hard-to-reach places and helps the mop cover more area. It's MOP! And I can only recommend it for tile floors. Works well on all linoleum floors as well as waterproof wooden floors.
