Wide opening, very sharp, good leverage.
The jaws open wide for thicker toenails. Once around the toenail the cutting surfaces are very sharp and with the handle leverage they cut easily. The design like any clipper of this style does require straight on cutting which is not as ergonomic as a scissor style, but still is easy to accomplish. Recommended.
